Halftime Fellows Program Alum, Micah Lacher, was recently noted in the Nashville Business Journal for his newest business-as-mission venture.

The Russell, a 23-room boutique hotel in East Nashville, was constructed in the former Cumberland Presbyterian Church, built in 1904. The first guests are scheduled to check in June 5. Micah Lacher, President of Anchor Investments, which developed The Russell, said the build-out represented a $7 million investment.

The Russell gives away a substantial portion of each nights stay to local homeless ministries. The average stay at The Russell provides 16 beds and warm meals at local homeless shelters. At The Russell, the slogan is Stay Here, Change Lives and they mean it. Not only will the guest’s lives be changed by an unmatched experience, they will be changing the lives of those less fortunate in the Nashville community.
