11 ways to keep learning in the second half of life

It’s important to keep learning in your second half because it prepares you to deal positively and productively with change. And, while what’s next for you may not be a seismic shift, it will be different, and it’s likely to require some new tools and knowledge.

So, let’s take a look at first what to learn, then some ways that I would recommend you go about that.

And while it’s impossible to design a curriculum for everyone’s second half, I would generally apply this rule: You should only really learn what you need and are willing to act on. In other words, you will learn best when the subjects you are studying in some way apply to what is important to you and your second-half mission.
