Announcing:
Global Strategy and Innovation Initiative

Glenn Williams to take the lead on a new, organized effort toward greater global collaboration within the Halftime network.

As a valued member of the Halftime community, we want you to be the first to hear of the newest development in our on-going strategic shift:

We are excited to announce that Glenn Williams will take the lead in Global Strategy and Innovation, to ensure we continue to build the vision for Halftime with a global, collaborative perspective.

MEET GLENN WILLIAMS

GLENN WILLIAMS is the founder and CEO of LCP Global Pty Ltd, an innovative provider of proven, scalable leadership solutions that recognize the connection between personal well-being, resilience, and better performance. With more than 25 years working as a psychologist, executive, and board member in more than 40 countries, he is passionate about helping individuals develop capacity to lead themselves, lead others, and their businesses.

Prior to starting LCP Global in 2010, Glenn served as the Chief Operating Officer for Global Operations, responsible for global strategy, partnership development, marketing, operations, human resources, and product development.

Early in his career, Glenn worked in a regional sales role for a multinational company, before going back to university to study psychology and launching Pro-Fam Australia, which launched national initiatives focused on building stronger families and communities. This work expanded to Asia, North America, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East.

In 2013, Glenn completed a doctorate through George Fox University in the U.S., focusing on the relationship between leadership character and performance. This expanded his understanding of how organizational culture, leadership identity, and well-being affect decision making and performance. This played a significant role in his own halftime experience, where he continues to help individuals align their successes, influence, and opportunities to build a legacy of significance.

Glenn is married to Natalie and they have three adult children.

WHAT’S NEXT?
HEAR FROM HALFTIME LEADERSHIP

We recently sat down with Glenn and Halftime Co-Executive Directors, Jim Stollberg and Tom McGehee to discuss this new initiative and explore the future of Halftime:

Q: How has Halftime personally impacted your life?

Glenn:  In my early 30s, a mentor of mine who was a very successful business executive, gave me a copy of Bob Buford’s book, Halftime. I can still recall his words – “Don’t wait until you’re my age or 40 or 50 to do something significant with your life. Choose to be successful and leverage that for significance.”

I decided then that I would live my life in that way. Nearly 20 years later, while going through a very challenging season in my life, I met John Sikkema, who had just launched the work of Halftime in Australia. “The rest is history”, as they say.

Q: What will you be tackling as you lead Global Strategy and Innovation?

Glenn: I feel incredibly blessed to have a context that intersects the work of Halftime globally, Generosity Path, and LCP Global, each of them connecting with high-capacity influencers/leaders and high-net-worth individuals. From this, I see some amazing synergies that can be leveraged. Simply, my roles with these three organizations focus on helping leaders to re-define what success is and go for it — to discover their passion and to be transformed by living a life of purpose and generosity as a follower of Jesus.

I have had the privilege of working in global leadership roles for nearly 20 years, and am hopeful that I can use this experience to serve Halftime’s global partners in such a way that we can achieve much more together. Specifically, Jim and Tom have prioritized creating a strong global community connection strategy and the importance of implementing a global innovation process where we can harness the shared wisdom and experience of our partners in creating content that can be leveraged globally to help people find and live out their Ephesians 2:10 calling.

Q: How will your work impact Halftimers around the globe?

Glenn: If we genuinely want to be part of a global movement and see God at work in this, then we must focus on providing four core areas of value to our global network:

    1. A connected community
    2. Collaboration
    3. Continued equipping
    4. On-going coaching

I see my role critical in facilitating this under Jim and Tom’s leadership and to give them greater capacity to achieve this end.

Q: How does this new role align with your own Ephesians 2:10 calling?

Glenn: There is great alignment. My own personal mission statement is, “Helping people to achieve great goals without sacrificing what is most important.”

Q: What lies ahead for the future of Halftime?

Tom and Jim: The future for Halftime is one of increasing impact. We are positioned globally to not only grow in the number of high-capacity leaders we work with, but also to begin to really connect Halftimers to create collaborations that multiply the power of each individual calling. We will be expanding our services to leverage our great, global community of friends and Glenn will be an invaluable, integral key to the success of this mission and vision.

Q: Jim and Tom, what would you share with Glenn as a note of encouragement/support moving forward in this new role?

Jim: I have had the pleasure of getting to know Glenn over the past year and have come to appreciate his talent, passion and commitment to our mission. His experience and leadership is a perfect fit for advancing our global innovation and strategy efforts.  It is a blessing to have him as a part of the Halftime team.

Tom: Glenn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Halftime. Professionally, his work with past ministries and his continued involvement with our global Halftime partners, as well as his own leadership and coaching experience. Personally, Glenn has a heart to see people be all they were created to be. He is open and supportive in both decision-making and spiritual insight. As we move to really build our global presence his help is invaluable.

Q: Is there anything else you would like the Halftime community to know?

Glenn: I can’t imagine a more important thing than knowing God’s call on your life and living it out. It touches the core of who I am in every aspect of my life.

The Halftime Institute is a global fellowship of friends committed to leveraging our leadership capacity for God’s purposes.

We are excited about this new season in store for the Halftime community. If there is anything we can do to serve, connect, or equip you on your path to maximized Kingdom impact in the meantime, please reach out.
