Join VetStarts‘ very own, Vince Leone, for the second annual Veterans Week Kickoff event, the Texas Veteran Round-Up!
Previously held at the UTA Veterans Assistance Center, this year it will be held in downtown Arlington in the parking lot of the Charles Wade Building! Gigantic venue and tons of free public parking all around the event!
The 2017 Veteran Round-up will feature:
- Presentations by the CEO of United Way Tarrant County TD Smyers, Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams, UTA President Dr. Vistasp Karbhari, and VetStarts CEO Vince Leone
- UTA ROTC Color Guard
- Arlington Lamar High School Show Choir directed by Toni Worley
- Food trucks
- Bounce houses, games
- CASH prize drawings
- Canine Companion service dog teams
- Veteran service provider display area
- Warrior Art and VetKids Art Club projects and art display
They will recognize and celebrate all the veterans and military family members for their era of service as well as our outstanding veteran police officers, firefighters, and first responders. Please share this invitation with the veterans, and first responders where you live, work, and worship.
